Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with dual CT and X-Ray responsibilities, requiring ARRT(CT) registration and a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging department performing both CT and X-Ray examinations
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
• No call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT and X-Ray experience required
• ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• BLS required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment and patients weighing 20+ lbs
• Manual dexterity required to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing CT and X-Ray examinations, evaluating images for proper exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, instructing patients on exam preparation, and setting up procedure rooms
• Role requires independent judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to emergency situations
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity to patient and co-worker needs
• Reports to the Imaging Services Manager
