Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Rotating weekends
36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide skilled nursing care in a 12-bed inpatient hospice facility
Manage symptoms, pain, and provide respite care
Support patients and families through end-of-life stages
Collaborate with medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, and volunteers
Assist with bereavement support and medication/equipment management as appropriate

Required Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
Broad-based nursing experience preferred to support specialized hospice care

Preferred Qualifications

BSN degree and/or previous home health, hospice, or case management experience

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
