Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience
Driver’s license required at submittal

Work Setting

Emergency department in a Level I trauma center
Pediatric-certified by the state
Comprehensive stroke center

Key Job Details

Fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Floating required to the observation unit and a freestanding emergency department at least once per week
Schedule is set by leadership
Weekend and holiday needs vary by department
Orientation includes 1 week of onboarding plus 3 additional shifts across related units

Additional Notes

Candidates may not be currently working full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity
Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
RNs must read and interpret telemetry strips themselves
Pass/fail exam is required during orientation
