Georgia respiratory therapist license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Minimum 2 years of experience
1 prior travel contract
Critical care experience
Experience with intubating patients
Ability to work adult ICU and manage vents
Ability to read ABGs and recognize alert critical values

Work Setting

ICU and ER settings
Adult care with peds to adults
NICU only if NRP is needed

Responsibilities

Provide standard respiratory therapy care, including nebulizers, airway management, Vapotherm, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilators, ABG collection, bedside PFTs, and CPT
Perform ICU duties including A-line placement, blood gas management, intubation, and bronchoscopy

Additional Details

Strict 75-mile radius rule
First week includes hospital and charting orientation
ICU orientation is extended by one additional week
Weekend coverage may be required
Holidays are rotated with permanent staff
No call required
