Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Trauma experience
Bone Marrow Transplant experience
Experience with Epic
Willing to float to all med surg units/locations within Fargo as needed

Preferred

Travel experience
Inpatient oncology experience
Hematology experience
Bone marrow transplant experience

Work Setting

Med-surg oncology unit
May float to other med-surg units in Fargo as needed

Patient Population

Medically complex hematology/oncology patients
Patients receiving blood products, antibiotics, symptom/side effect management, and possibly chemotherapy

Unit Details

16 inpatient oncology beds on one unit
12 inpatient oncology beds on the hematology/bone marrow transplant-focused unit

Orientation

8 hours of classroom training
24–36 hours of unit training

Additional Notes

Cannot accept travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
Local travel rate applies to those living 60–80 miles away
Clinicians must badge in and out
Navy blue scrubs required
If previously worked for the same health system, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
