Department: Respiratory Therapy, First Floor
Number of Beds: 81
Patient Population: Adult, pediatric, and newborn (birthing center)
Equipment Used:
- Fisher & Paykel Airvo 2 nasal oxygen high flow system
- Respironics V60 ventilator
- Drager Evita Infinity V500 ventilator
- Getinge Servo-s ventilator
- Hamilton T1 ventilator
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Must be able to work independently as needed
Float to Waldo County General Hospital as required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Dress Code

Scrubs: Any color allowed
Unacceptable Attire: Open-toe shoes and hats

This hospital is hands down the least toxic hospital I have ever had the privilege of working. I absolutely love the people I work with. Everyone I come into contact with likes what they do and they do it with passion. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s close.
