Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week)
Weekly Hours: 36
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call: None required
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
Unit Equipment: Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable Hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitoring, defibrillators (x2 for transport), EKG machine
Electronic Health Records: Omnicell, EPIC

Specialty: Cardiology / Pulmonary Telemetry
Patient Types: Post-op cath care, stroke, congestive heart failure (CHF), atrial fibrillation (A-fib), arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents, medical-surgical patients
Required Skills: Telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip titration, dysrhythmia management and interpretation

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in cardiology nursing and post-op cath care
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
