MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel Contract)

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Wednesday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Backfill position in Imaging Services, primarily focused on MRI technology.
• Work on the first floor of the main hospital building.
• Unit includes multiple imaging disciplines (Mammo, CT, Xray, US, MRI), but this role is specific to MRI.
• Weekend work is required.
• Dress code for technologists: Olive green top and black pants.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
• ARRT (MR) Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Additional Information

• No call requirements for MRI.
• The unit has permanent positions available.
• Candidates without the required certifications will not be considered.
• Preferred candidates have at least 2 years of experience (considered first but not mandatory).
• The unit uses GE equipment and Meditech EMR.
• The work environment values a good personality fit and adherence to dress code policies.

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract for an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) certification. The position requires evening and overnight shifts three days a week, weekend availability, and adherence to specific dress code standards.
