Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Travel)
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information
- Unit: Labor & Delivery
- Number of Beds: 16
- Number of Staff: 40
- Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 6 RNs (including 1 charge nurse, 1 scrub tech)
- Night Shift: 5 RNs (including 1 charge nurse, 1 scrub tech)
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:2, may fluctuate with acuity
- Equipment: GE fetal monitor system
- EMR Systems: CPN, Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Cerclages
- Versions
- C-sections (ability to circulate)
- Vaginal deliveries
- D&Cs
- Care of fetal demise
- Epidurals
- Care for both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Comfortable caring for unblocked/unepiduralized patients
- Experience with mom/baby couplet care
- Strong collaboration skills with physicians, midwives, and doulas
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and cheerful attitude
- Exceptional patient experience skills
