Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU Travel Position
Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- 65 beds, staffed by 200+ employees
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1
- Equipment includes isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, breast pumps, and more
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Meditech and CPN
- Permanent night shift and weekend day positions available
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience
- NICU experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt positively to change
- Navy scrub color required as dress code
- Experience with typical NICU procedures (not specifically listed but implied)
