RN ICU

Role Summary

• Travel RN float pool position in Portland, Maine.
• Candidate must be willing to float to multiple different units.
• Acute care hospital experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year
• Critical Care Float (3 years of experience)
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
• MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
• Neuro ICU experience
• CVICU experience
• Must be willing to float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, and any IMC at the organization.
• EPIC familiarity.
• 75% weekends required.

Unit / Patient Population

• Float Pool
• Varies based on unit
• Float assignments include SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, and CICU.
• Typical ICU patients include sedated, intubated, and pressor patients.
• Does not care for high complexity patients such as CRRT.

Schedule

• 7am to 7:30 pm or 7pm to 7:30 am
• 48 guaranteed hours per week

Preferred

• 3 years of ICU experience

Additional Notes

• Patient ratios: 1:2, with 1:3 in IMC.
• No call requirements.
