Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Austin, Texas
- 13-week contract
- Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- Cath lab with 3 labs
- High-volume unit performing standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases
- Typical staffing is 3 staff per procedure
- Patient ratio is 1:1
- Philips equipment used
Schedule
- Average call requirement: 9 days per month
- Average weekends: 1 weekend per month
Work Environment
- Very busy lab
- Requires a sense of urgency
