Job Overview

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly hours: 36
Shift: Days, 4x10 Monday–Friday
Call: Required; details to be discussed at interview
Weekend work: No weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
First Assist (2 years of experience)
First Assist experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
CNOR
CSFA
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Role Details

Assist surgeons during procedures, including suturing and wound closure
Must be able to assist with general, GU, and ortho cases
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate multiple computer systems
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide quality care in the OR
Preferred to also scrub

Work Environment

Surgical OR setting
Team-oriented role with ability to work independently
Scrub color: black, provided by the facility
