Unit Information

Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Recovery Room
Number of beds: 30
Staffing:
- Day shift: 1 CNC/charge nurse, 12 nurses
- Night shift: 2 RNs (sometimes on-call, not always scheduled)
Patient ratios:
- 1 RN to 2 patients
- 1 RN to 1 patient (in some cases)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech

Schedule

Approximately 36 hours per week
On-call required with a 30-minute response time when on-call

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience
Current certifications: ACLS and BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Flexibility with hours
