Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Recovery Room
- Number of beds: 30
- Staffing:
- Day shift: 1 CNC/charge nurse, 12 nurses
- Night shift: 2 RNs (sometimes on-call, not always scheduled)
- Patient ratios:
- 1 RN to 2 patients
- 1 RN to 1 patient (in some cases)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
Schedule
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience
- Current certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Flexibility with hours
