Job Opportunity: RN - Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel)

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Unit Type: Acute Rehabilitation
Number of Beds: 13
Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 6 patients
Equipment: Lift equipment available
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech
Float Requirements: MedSurg as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation experience within the last year
Experience working with adult and geriatric patients
Acute care experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel experience preferred but not required
Experience in MedSurg, LTAC, or similar settings is acceptable
Familiarity with neuro, trauma, burn care, gait training/strengthening, and wound vac treatment

Additional Information

Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
No call requirements
Dress code and scrub color not specified
Candidates must submit full packet including resume, self-assessment, and skills checklist
