• Unit: Medical Surgical (3rd & 4th Floor)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: See shift details
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed
• Float Requirements: As needed, possibility to float to like units
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Number of Beds: 57
• EHR System: MediTech

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a medical-surgical unit serving a diverse patient population.
• Common diagnoses include COPD, post-operative joint patients, and diabetic population.
• The role requires a kind, caring, and compassionate personality fit.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license valid in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, and HWC
• Must meet all required certifications as per client checklist (may require additional certifications)

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Scrub color: Any
• Unacceptable attire: Branded attire from other facilities
• Travel candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify
