Unit Information

• Unit: Medical Surgical - 3rd & 4th Floor
• Number of Beds: 57
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Patient Population: All ages
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: COPD, post-op joint care, diabetic population
• EHR System: MediTech

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse license valid in Kentucky
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • HWC (Health and Wellness Certification)
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Medical-Surgical specialty (highest required)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Personality Fit: Kind, caring, compassionate

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse
• Dress code allows any scrub color; branded attire from other facilities is not acceptable

This role offers the opportunity to work in a Joint Commission-accredited, 107-bed acute care facility serving a broad patient population in a rural Kentucky setting.
