• Unit Name: Radiation Oncology
• Beds: 490
• Staffing: 4 Radiation Therapists (RTTs), 2 Radiation Oncology RNs
• Equipment: Truebeam and iX linear accelerators
• Documentation Systems: Mosaiq and Meditech
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
• Floating Policy: Not applicable
• Certifications:

  • The Joint Commission
  • American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 4 years as a Radiation Therapist
• Preferred Experience:

  • Truebeam linear accelerator
  • OSMS (Optical Surface Monitoring System)
• Required Skills: Familiarity with OBI-KV, MV, CBCT imaging
• Procedures Performed:

  • VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy)
  • 3D treatments
  • SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery)
  • SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
  • Emergency treatments including SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT Board Certification
  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Grey or charcoal grey scrubs required
• Technology: Use of advanced Truebeam Linac technology
• Contract Length: 12 weeks (interpreted as weeks)
