Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Therapy

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Inpatient Rehab Unit
32 beds
Staff: ~35 therapists, 50 nurses
Day Shift: 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, 7 Nurses, 3 PCTs, 1 UC
Patient Treatment Time: 5 to 6 hours per day
Equipment: H200/L300, BURT
EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

Provide inpatient rehab treatments including ADLs and evaluations
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Flexibility to work weekends (minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period required)
Outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable personality preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
BLS Certification
Experience in a Rehabilitation setting

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in inpatient rehab
Willingness to work weekends

Additional Information

Floating to other Methodist Inpatient Rehab units may be required
Dress code: Black pants and olive scrub top

Techs stay on the scanner and don't allow other techs to scan, so your setting up all the scans all day sometimes. .
