MRI Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Department: Radiology (MRI)
- Equipment: GE 450W 1.5T MRI
- Staff: 5 total technologists
- Day Shift: 2 technologists
- Evening Shift: 2 technologists
- Night Shift: Call coverage
- Typical Procedures: Brain, Spine, Orthopedic, Body, Abdomen, Cardiac
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems: Meditech, Centricity PACS
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend call rotation: approximately 1 weekend per month
- Night call: 2 weeknights per week (typically 11 PM to 6 AM)
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing cardiac MRI scans
Additional Information
- Dress code: Navy scrubs
- Floating: Not applicable
This position is a travel contract opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist.

Cons
Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.
