Role

Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Location

Cambridge, Massachusetts

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Holiday rotation
No on-call

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Additional Details

Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted; local rate applies
Floating may be required
RNs are responsible for identifying rhythms Q4
No central monitor tech; monitors are on unit
Unit includes post-op surgery cases: general, orthopedics, GYN, vascular procedures
Other unit patient types include Heart Failure, Chest Pain, PNA, Cellulitis, Pancreatitis, Alcohol Withdrawal
Common therapies/protocols include Heparin, TPN, Lasix, Cardizem, and non-titrating protocols for all drips
Candidates should note if fluent in another language due to large Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole-speaking populations
