ECHO Vascular Technician

Overview

• Travel assignment in Medford, Wisconsin
• 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Primary location: Aspirus Medford
• 8-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Generally no weekends; holidays required as needed
• No on-call requirement
• May float to other Aspirus locations including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade
• Only Echo tech onsite
• Typical volume: 6–8 Echos per day
• Primarily outpatient with a few inpatients daily
• Scrub color: any color acceptable

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience
• Routine General Ultrasound Vascular experience
• ECG interpretive skills, including identification and differentiation of arrhythmia
• Knowledge of routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents
• BLS
• CCI RDCS or RCS, or ARDMS RVT or RVS
• AHA or ARC certification

Preferred

• Epic charting experience
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in an allied health field

Additional Notes

• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
