Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Orthopedic (Travel)

Location: Hendersonville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Schedule: Rotate weekends and holidays every other week
Hours: Up to 36 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation week or holidays when unit is closed)
Floating: May float to MSO and PCU as needed
On Call: Not applicable
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 6:1

Unit Description

Orthopedic and Med/Surgical unit
Patient population includes total joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder), spine patients, and hip fracture patients
Majority of patients are elective cases with 1-2 night stays

Required Qualifications

License: North Carolina RN license or compact RN license
Certifications: BLS and ACLS preferred but not required
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
Travel Experience: Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract (prior travel experience required)
Charting: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required

Additional Information

Compliance documentation must be submitted 7 business days prior to start date
Facility may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty
