Location
- Ithaca, New York
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Employment type: LTA
Schedule
- On-call required: roughly 3–4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call in an 8-week period
- Call hours: weeknights 9p–7a; weekends 7a–7a
- Shift start/end times may vary: 6a–6:30p, 7a–7:30p, 8a–8:30p, or 9a–9:30p
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Nursys completed within 30 days prior to start
- 2 professional references: 1 supervisor reference from employment within the last 12 months and 1 supervisor or peer reference from employment within the last 3 years
- Signed job description
- Resume covering all employment and gaps from the last 7 years, with education history, degree title, graduation date, city/state for all assignments and education, and dates in MM/YY format
- Pharmacology exam
- Rhythm interpretation exam
- Epic questionnaire
- Submission cover sheet
Onboarding / Compliance
- Valid current US driver’s license or US ID card
- Agency background check completed within 30 days of start
- 9+ panel drug screen excluding marijuana
- TB testing
- Physical/health statement within the past 12 months
- Fit test completed prior to start and within the last 12 months
- MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
- Tdap within the last 10 years
- COVID-19 vaccine proof or declination
- Color headshot
- Employment verification for most recent employer
- Health and workplace forms and acknowledgements required by the assignment
- 7 instant background checks
- Proof of active TN visa, if applicable for Canadian-issued license holders
Notes
- Call requirements may increase or decrease depending on staffing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS must not expire during the assignment
