Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray

Location: Flint, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 10
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Explain procedures and position patients to capture specific body parts during imaging.
Use lead shielding to protect patients from radiation exposure.
Operate X-ray equipment, adjusting technical factors such as voltage and current to obtain clear images.
Review images for clarity and retake if necessary to ensure diagnostic quality.
Follow safety procedures adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
Sanitize equipment and perform routine maintenance.
Update patient records, manage images, and document procedures accurately.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in X-Ray imaging.
ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.

Additional Information

No specific scrub color requirements for dress code.
