Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Work history
• Emergency Department skills checklist current to 1 year
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• ED Triage/Cardiac Room experience
• IV certification
• Meditech Expanse experience
• ENPC
• CEN
• BSN

Work Expectations

• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled or needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and the weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after
• No schedule accommodations such as block scheduling
• Requested time off must be submitted at upload; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Must be able to function independently under general guidance and use critical thinking, time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem solving
• Must maintain emotional stability in emergency settings

Additional Notes

• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Must have their own vehicle
• Personal scrubs of any color are allowed
