Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Vascular Access experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Background Checks & Compliance
- FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC Sanctions List, Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List checks as applicable
- Sex Offender Search within 90 days of start
- Education verification and transcript/diploma verification as needed
- TB questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider within 90 days of start, renewed annually
- Various facility-specific documents and attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start
Certifications & Competencies
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
- Additional certifications may be required depending on position specifics (e.g., PALS, NRP, CCRN, TNCC) – verify with recruiter
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam may be required for some units
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam and immunizations as listed above
- Fit mask test and accommodations for failed fit tests (PAPR training)
- Drug screening (9-panel, excluding marijuana/cannabinoids)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Color blindness exam if applicable (in-person exam only)
- Respiratory safety clearance required, renewed annually
