Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Gardner, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Shift: 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: None
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Unit Systems: Omnicell, Meditech Expanse
Orientation: 16 hours total (either 2 eight-hour shifts or 2 twelve-hour shifts with a preceptor)
Scrubs: Any color allowed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment

Compliance & Background Requirements

Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Release (required)
7-year Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start, updated annually
EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
Education verification or official transcript
Primary source verification of state nursing license

Health & Immunization Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask test within 1 year (acceptable masks: 1870+, 1860, 1860S); onsite fit testing available if needed
Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest X-ray with TB questionnaire annually
Immunity or vaccination documentation for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or completed series; if incomplete, must provide proof of vaccination schedule)
- Varicella
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccine or signed declination during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31)
COVID-19 booster documentation or signed declination

- Corporate Compliance Program Acknowledgement

- Standards of Behavior Applicant Sheet

Upload required compliance documents and complete TB survey in the facility’s document management system prior to start
