Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Schedule Details:

No return to office (RTO) allowed on 5/25 and 7/4
36 or 48 hours available
Every other weekend and every other holiday off
Unit uses a self-scheduling model (manager will explain; no guaranteed schedule but attempts to accommodate)

Job Description

Work in a children's hospital setting
Must have Level 4 NICU experience
Cardiac PICU experience preferred
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Care Specialist (ACCS) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
Candidates can submit with Virginia license pending if they can obtain a temporary license before start; must have another state license to be eligible for temp license

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
