Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

Job Description
- Work primarily in the Burn Unit.
- Required to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Additionally, pick up 3 shifts between Monday and Friday (varies).
- Must be able to float to other patient areas as needed.
- Treat burn patients with 0-100% Total Body Surface Area (TBSA) burns.
- Provide physical therapy focused on mobility, positioning, and prevention of contractures and scarring.
- Patient census ranges from 2 to 8 patients per day, with higher volume in cooler months.
- Opportunity to assist with outpatient PT evaluations and therapy if time allows.
- Scrubs provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana.
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year.
- Experience in an inpatient setting.
- Physical Therapist experience accepted.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
