Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Burlingame, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families.
• Utilize nursing processes including comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of nursing care plans, patient education, and ongoing evaluation.
• Deliver holistic and individualized care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Adhere to policies, industry standards, best practices, laws, regulations, and codes to ensure a quality patient experience.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and development.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• California RN License

Background Checks & Compliance

  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination with mask requirement
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law).

Competency Exams

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exam with minimum passing score of 80% (or Angoff score if higher)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam may be required for some units
