Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Atlanta, Georgia
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 15 weeks
• Locals accepted

Unit / Scope

• Cardiovascular/thoracic, Transplant & Robotics (Thoracic) preferred
• Floating: within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Call is subject to change based on departmental needs

Experience

• 2 years minimum experience
• Unit accepts first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• State of Georgia license for CRTs and RRTs, if applicable
• Photo ID
• Background check completed before start
• Education verification of related degree
• Color blind testing
• Competency exam
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination
• 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• Verification of most recent employer

• Cardiovascular/thoracic
• Transplant
• Robotics (Thoracic)

Scheduling / Holiday Expectations

• RTO maximum: 7 days
• If assigned over major holidays, the traveler is expected to work the applicable holiday schedule described in the source
