Summary

Assists cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology [EP] studies, and radiofrequency [RF] ablations on newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of a radiologic technology program
ARRT (R)
Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with pediatric/adult congenital
Experience with sterile technique
CNOR
National certification

Additional Notes

Must be able to scrub into procedures as a sterile scrub assistant and manage x-ray equipment
Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP ablation procedures
Monitors invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients, including communication of patient vital signs and EKG data
Responsible for ordering and maintaining par levels, plus general equipment troubleshooting
