Overview
- Travel/Contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Role Details
- Provides comprehensive care to neonates in a Level III NICU
- Focuses on neonates from 22 weeks gestation and above
- Manages respiratory distress, glucose management, and care for neonates requiring surgery or cardiac interventions
- Experience in NICU Level III and Level IV settings is listed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Competency in cardiovascular dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Proficiency in gastrointestinal feeding methods and management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes
- Experience with arterial line management
- Experience with ventilator management
- Expertise in IV therapy, including umbilical artery and vein catheter management
Preferred
- Prior experience at Nationwide Children’s Hospital
