MS/Tele

Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Omaha, Nebraska.
• 13-week contract option.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
• 36 hours per week.
• Travelers are first to float and may float frequently within scope, including to Bellevue campus.
• Travelers may be assigned based on experience and can be placed on a preferred unit if noted at submission.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nebraska.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• Experience in an Academic Medical Center or Hospital setting.
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips.
• Experience with Epic.
• Must be more than 100 miles from the facility.

Preferred

• ACLS.

Scheduling and Attendance

• 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.
• Up to 2 weeks of RTO is permitted and must be submitted with the application.
• Travelers must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Additional Notes

• Pending license is accepted; if the license is not in hand at submission, the traveler will be booked 6 weeks out.
• Scrubs are mandatory: Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo on the back.
• Parking is available for a fee.
• The facility is 100% nicotine free.
• Units may include Observation, Stepdown Critical Care, Heart and Vascular Unit, Cardiac Care Unit/Post Cardiac Surgery, Solid Organ Transplant Unit, Neuroscience Units, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 UT, 9 Trauma, 8 Werner, Werner Specialty Care Unit, Werner Progressive Care Unit, and Bellevue Medical Center 4th Floor.
