PCU Registered Nurse

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract Registered Nurse in Winfield, Illinois
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 48 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: yes
• On-call: no
• Meal break: 30 minutes
• Will be required to float to 9 BT units plus overflow areas

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Compliance / Onboarding

• Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry verification is required before every new contract and extension
• If not already listed as eligible, candidate must complete LiveScan fingerprinting in Illinois before starting; out-of-state fingerprints are not accepted
• 7 years of employment history is required, including explanation for gaps greater than 30 days
• Current and valid Driver’s License or Government Photo ID with address is preferred, but highly recommended to have on file
• Proof of name change is required if legal name does not match compliance documents
