Assignment Details
- Travel role in Wausau, Wisconsin
- 13-week contract
- Start: ASAP
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 8-hour day shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Weekend rotation includes one Saturday every 6–8 weeks; no holidays
- Mileage reimbursement is included
- Low-census unbillable hours may apply, with call-back possible if called in
Work Setting
- Home health physical therapy
- Primary location is Wausau, with possible float coverage to nearby locations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
- Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Experience in a Home Health setting
- Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
- Experience with orthopedic diagnoses
- Experience with neurological diagnoses
Role Overview
- Evaluates, treats, and plans patient care according to physical therapy standards
- Serves adult and geriatric patients
- Documentation must meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements
- Average productivity expectation is 4.5 visits per day
