Job Description
- Provide safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Deliver direct patient care within scope of practice on a Telemetry Unit.
- Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptoms.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- COVID-19 vaccination preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- Telemetry experience with a minimum of 1 year, including experience within the last year.
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- ACLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam.
- Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
- Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam.
- Completion of Prime Skills Checklist.
- Completion of Prime Specialty Exam.
- Completion of DCI/BVP training.
- Completion of Prime Color-blind test.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience in an Acute Care setting.
