Clinical Dietitian Position - Iowa, Clinton

Job Details

• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Setting: Remote work allowed only for nutrition screening and nutrition support patients
• Preferred Experience: Epic electronic health record system experience preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit test
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (includes methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates; no THC)
• COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by September 2025), or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (titers not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine: Optional, with proof or declination accepted (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test; if positive, chest x-ray per regional requirements
• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within the last year confirming fitness to work
• Tdap vaccine: Current, non-expired; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Signed Code of Conduct form
• Signed Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement
• Signed Integrity and Audit Services form (signed shortly before start)
• Completed Non-Employee Upload form (pages 1-3 and 28)
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure form
• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification (dated within 30 days of start)
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
• Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including aliases and state-specific checks for Michigan
• System Access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• Iowa-specific: Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training and Iowa Sing Report (criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries check) within 30 days prior to start
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions search completed within 30 days
