Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
• 16-week assignment
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Ratio: 1:5
• Mixed acuity: PCU and MS patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• IV insertion skills
• Experience with tracheostomy management
• Experience with Epic
• Must float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Required within 30 days of start: State License 1 Verification and NURSYS Verification
• Required for all candidates: Emergency Contact Form, background check, Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting, pending background check attestation if fingerprints are pending, employment application, skills checklist, and references
• Required health/compliance items include: physical exam, Tdap, negative TB or chest X-ray, TB questionnaire, MMR immunity, Hepatitis B, Varicella, negative 10-panel drug screen, flu documentation during flu season, fraud/waste/abuse training certificate, ethics and compliance policies, dress code and hand hygiene policy, confidentiality/compliance reporting form, and orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Required competency items include: unit-specific competency exam, medication test/pharmacology competency exam, and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Preferred

• Oncology experience
• Previous travel experience
