Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Livingston, New Jersey
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:30–07:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP issued by American Heart Association
• EFM
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with amnioinfusion
• Experience with high-risk (HR) deliveries
• Ability to circulate/scrub/recover C-sections
• Experience with forceps/vacuum extraction
• Experience managing hemorrhage/shock
• Experience with amniocentesis
• Experience with sterile speculum exam
• Experience assessing effacement/dilation/station/presentation
• Experience with NST (Non-Stress Test)
• Experience with OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Test)
• Experience with Epic
• Must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, as needed
• Every other weekend
• Must float within skillset without exception, including Antepartum, L&D, L&D PACU, and Postpartum

Unit Details

• Ratios: 1:1–2
• Work settings: AP, HRAP, LDRP, MB, Level I Nursery
• Birth volume: 200–300+/month
• Hospital-provided scrub color
