Assignment Details

• Location: Titusville, Florida
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 24 weeks
• Shift: Night, 4x12 hours
• Hours per week: 48
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Float: Required within scope
• Block scheduling: Considered case by case
• Patient ratio: 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 2 completed travel assignments
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Stroke experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC

Schedule and Time-Off Restrictions

• No RTO during the first or last week of the assignment
• No RTO on 10/31 or 11/27
• If 1–2 holidays fall within the contract, must work 1 holiday eve and 1 holiday
• If 3 holidays fall within the assignment, must work 1 holiday eve and 2 holidays

Compliance and Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check within 6 months of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM
• HHS/OIG
• Education verification
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance before start
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Fit testing completed onsite during the first week
• TB screening within 1 year of start
• Drug screen within 3 months of start
• COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption
• Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption
• Two professional references within 2 years of start
• Performance evaluation on file within the last year
• Skills checklist
• Facility-specific job description and onboarding acknowledgements/forms
• Orientation modules and quiz completion before start
