CVICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Cleveland, Ohio
• Night shift, 3x12 schedule
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Must work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Ohio
• CVICU experience within the last year
• 1.5 years of CVICU experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Orientation / Onboarding Requirements

• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation; passing scores are required
• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification required within 30 days of start
• Annual skills checklist required
• 2 references required from recent employment in a supervisory or charge role

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
• Tdap vaccination/documentation required every 10 years
• TB screening or chest X-ray required within 12 months of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
• Drug screening required within 12 months of start
• Flu documentation required seasonally
• Eye exam required within 1 year of start

• Must complete all onboarding modules before start
• Baseline competency testing is completed at orientation
