Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Warrensville Heights, Ohio
• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract options listed as 13–20 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1.5 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• Monthly HHS/OIG screening
• Fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of signed contract
• Education verification
• Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
• Nursys verification within 30 days of start
• Baseline competency exam in medication and ECG during orientation
• 2 references from employment within the past year
• Employment application with 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
• Tdap vaccination or approved exemption
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Snellen eye exam within 1 year
• Annual skills checklist
