Role Overview

• Tele RN needed for night shift.
• Travel/Contract assignment.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Schedule

• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend and whenever the unit needs coverage.
• On-call: as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Telemetry (3 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 6 months or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• CPI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Floating

• May float to other units within scope of practice.
• May float to Summit or Herrick Campus depending on need/census.
• Travelers should expect flexibility with floating between campuses or within the hospital.
• Shuttle provided if floating is requested.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Other Relevant Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start.
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start.
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start.
• State license verification required within 30 days of start.
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start.
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit test required within 1 year of start.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 6 months of start.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
• References are required by Aya only, not by the client.
