Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract position in Quinter, Kansas
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:00–6:00
• 36 hours per week

Role Details

• The unit delivers 1–2 babies per week, so the position is 75% med-surg
• 1:1 OB patient ratio
• 1:3 med-surg patient ratio, with 1:4 possible during cold/flu season
• Critical access hospital
• CPSI / Perigen charting
• Duplex has limited availability until Nov/December
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated, but is not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Labor and Delivery experience, including 1 year of experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association or United States Department of Defense
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association or United States Department of Defense
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Prior critical access hospital experience
