Overview

Travel/Contract role in Greensboro, North Carolina
3x12 day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Every other weekend required
One holiday and one evening shift during the holiday period required
No call
13-week contract
Nurse-patient ratio: 1:6, with possible stretch to 7

Unit / Clinical Focus

Pre-op and post-op ortho
Elective and trauma patients
Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements and repairs
Ortho trauma
Uses Rapid Response Teams
Safe patient handling equipment and ortho equipment including CPM, Knee Immobilizer, Bone Foam, and others

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Orthopedics (2 years of experience)
Orthopedics experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic
