Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Unit census: 44
Patient ratio: 1:2
Weekend coverage: every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

TNCC (Trauma Nurse cert)

Additional Notes

Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
The unit may assign travelers to an Emergency Team during an emergency event, with an expectation to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team as directed by the unit manager
