EP Lab Tech
Role Overview
- EP Lab Tech assignment in a short term acute care teaching hospital.
- Day shift: 4x10 or 3x12, 7:00-17:00.
- 2 days of late case coverage per week.
- Start option: 10/12.
- Daily caseload averages 18.
- No on-call, weekend, or floating requirement.
- Scrubs are provided.
- Flu vaccine is required for all employees.
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician (2 years of experience)
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CCI RCES or CCI RCIS
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
- Philips X-Ray machine operation
- Siemens X-Ray machine operation
- GE Micropacer equipment operation
- Hemodynamic monitoring in EP Lab
- Sinus node rhythm experience
- Head-Up-Tilt test procedures
- Cardioversion procedures
- Internal Loop Recorder procedures
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred
- ARRT.
- Fluro permit.
- Groin closure device experience.
- Peripherals experience.
- Laser lead extraction experience.
- Trauma work setting experience.
- Children’s Hospital work setting experience.
- 3D mapping Biosense experience.
- 3D mapping Abbott/ESI experience.

- Cardiac Electrophysiology study.

- Atrial flutter/fibrillation ablations.
- Supraventricular tachycardia ablations.
- Ventricular tachycardia ablations.
- Device implants: Watchman, Aveir, Pacemaker, Defibrillator.
- Device explants/lead extractions.
