Job Details

Location: Napa, California
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP)
Current certification in Chemotherapy (CHEMO)
Current certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Current certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
Current certification in IV Certification
Current certification in Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
Current certification in NIH Stroke Certification
Current certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
Current certification verification as applicable for the profession
State license verification as applicable for the profession
NURSYS verification as applicable
Government-issued photo ID
Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
E-Verify attestation
Education verification
Background check
Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Health and Compliance

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask clearance
Tdap vaccination within 10 years or declination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination, or declination
Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Drug screen within 12 months of start
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
COVID vaccination record or declination
Respiratory safety clearance

Additional Notes

Traveler may be required to float to another facility within a reasonable distance
Annual regulatory training modules are required
